About Us image

Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in our area, the Women’s Club of Sugarloaf Country Club created the Women’s Club of Sugarloaf Country Club Charities, Inc. in 2008 as a 501 (c) 3, a not-for-profit organization, with the following mission statement:

“WCSCC Charities mobilizes the Sugarloaf community to support local charities whose purposes are to improve the financial, emotional and/or physical wellbeing of families and individuals living in Gwinnett County.”

The WCSCC Charities Charity Board falls under the umbrella of the Women’s Club of Sugarloaf Country Club, and is made up of Women’s Club members. The Charity Board votes each year on local charities to support. This year, the chosen charities are Annandale Village, Duluth Co-op, Mosaic, Home of Hope and the Next Stop Foundation. Both the Women's Club and the Charity Board have Executive Boards which represent our Women's Club members.

March 2 is the first fundraising event in 2024. Casino Night Dinner Dance will take place at the Hudgens Center for Art. In August, we will participate once again in the TPC Sugarloaf Charity Week--an event that honors some of our retired military and veterans with a golf tournament, Pro-Am Tennis tournament and a dinner and auction. The 15th annual Sugarloaf Turkey Trot will be run on Thanksgiving morning. There are many opportunities for you to help us as we fundraise for these deserving charities. Here are some of the ways you can help: MVP Sponsorships, Friend/Resident Sponsorships and advertising in our monthly Sugarloaf Living magazine. Over the last 13 years, we have raised over $1.8 million dollars. The generosity and compassion of the Sugarloaf and Gwinnett County communities have made this possible.
